Sunday Fabric Fun

I spent a leisurely Sunday last week with some of my friends from Running with Scissors group taking a class from Kat called My Secret life.  It was amazing to watch Kat intuitively put together an art piece. She went from the first photo to the second one in less than 30 minutes, quickly evaluating choices and cutting out the shapes with a rotary cutter and in the case of some of the smaller pieces or to make a small change using little scissors.

Here are Leann and her sister Jane working hard on their pieces, although Leann seems to be sharing a joke with Barb across the table from her.
